I really, really liked the world you built here. It's just fascinating, and as much as I hate to be the guy going "omg omg write more" (I never know how to respond to those comments), I would love to see you explore it more, maybe in a timestamp? In particular, I'm very interested in how the knights' training partner relationships progress and change with time, as the students end their apprenticeships and become full members of the order in their own right. And the fact that people on the outside have a somewhat skewed perception of the order -- the way Jared does, when he first arrives, the way he's absolutely baffled by some of their, ahem, traditions -- that made me think, as well.
