This was a really interesting and original story! I'd really love to see them a few years down the line!

I am wondering whether or not the pairs split up down the road or they stay together till one of them dies? Mostly because I don't want to see the boys split up but I don't really see how the partnership thing works if it is to be long term.... do they have to find new partners when the apprentice becomes a knight? Or is it a choice?
