Fear not intrepid LJ user!  This can all change.  All you need to do is leave me a comment telling me why, in god's name WHY, you would want to be my friend.

When I get your comment, I will evaluate your statement, check your journal and friend you back! (I'll only be doing that because I can't let anyone who knows me in RL see some of my hidden super-secret inner workings.)

I will be deleting the comments from time to time so they don't get topply and unweildy.

That sounds funny, yes. But I'm taking part in a fandomish challenge right now, and one of the goals is to jump out on a limb and introduce ourselves to someone we think we'd like to be friends with, to put ourselves out there, if you will. I immediately thought of you.

Your story, How Firm a Foundation, has stuck in my mind for mooooonths now - it was so damn good. And I remember thinking back then that you were wonderful and that I wish I had the guts to friend you.
