kallysten's drabble challenge. You should too, it's an admirable project--ambitious, but doable if you all get on the ball!

“Spike.”
“Spike.”
“Spike!” A panicked whisper.
Spike stopped mid-buckle to glare over his shoulder at the form half-hidden in the shadows, “What?”
“I don’t think this is…what if someone…” Xander glanced shamefaced at the giant seated figure casting its shadow across them.
Spike rolled his eyes, “This was your bloody idea, mate. ’10 monuments in 5 days’. There’s been the bronze gits with the flag, the wall, even George’s pointy thing. This is our second for the night, just get on with it!”
Embarrassment forgotten , Xander was hard the moment Spike shamelessly shucked his jeans, as a deep voice in his head intoned, “Four score and seven years ago, our forefathers…”
