ACK!! It's not just Oakland! Fox sucks! Got this today in my e-mail:

Dear Buffy Enthusiast,
I'm afraid we have some very disappointing news. Clinton McClung, creator of the BUFFY SING-A-LONG traveling show, called yesterday and opened his conversation with me by saying, “Andy, they shut me down!”
I will not try and explain exactly what is going on - please visit Clinton's website where he has posted an official statement - except to say that it appears the SING-A-LONG was just too darn successful (and terrificly fun) to not mess with it.
We here at the Avalon hope that Fox-TV, Criterion Pictures, Clinton and whomever else is involved in this negotiation can quickly and fairly resolve whatever legal and/or monetary issues exist. We want, and will continue to run BUFFY at the Avalon if permitted and as long as it has a theatrical life in Washington DC.
Please sign the petition Clinton has started and let Fox know how much you want the BUFFY SING-A-LONG and other Joss Whedon productions to be available in "theatrical release."
Buffy was brought back from the dead (perhaps against her will as I have learned recently, she was in HEEAAAVVEENNN - but just go with me here), let's hope the SING-A-LONG can be resurrected as well.
